Greetings!

My name is Hilary Gettman, an executive coach with the University of Maryland's executive MBA program, and a PhD candidate in UMD's Organizational Psychology department. Dr. Cynthia Stevens (Professor of Management and Organization at the Smith School of Business at UMD) and I are conducting a study on executive coaching quality, specifically, working towards creating an empirical measure that taps important aspects of coaching effectiveness.  Your experiences are very important to us and our research. This survey contains a number of questions that ask you about your experiences as an executive coach. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes.

Important:  Your responses to this survey are completely confidential. No one other than the researchers will have access to the data, and it will be reported in the aggregate, combined with dozens of other surveys.  (However, your information may be shared with representatives of the University of Maryland or governmental authorities if you or someone else is in danger or if we are required to do so by law.)

Your participation in this project is completely voluntary. Although the research is not designed to benefit you personally, we hope to gain a better understanding of how to assess the quality of executive coaching to promote further work in this area, and will provide you with your results if you would like them.  If you would be willing to take this survey, please read and indicate your agreement to the following:
